M&M’s New Ice Cream Bars

As the summer months are approaching, the desire for frozen novelties are increasing. With the success of M&M’s ice cream sandwich, Mars Chocolate decided it was time to come out with a “clean, simple, and convenient treat.” Thus, the M&M ice cream bar was created.

As an avid ice cream lover, finding new and exciting ice cream treats that are simple and easy to eat on the go is exciting. Not always do I have time to scoop a bowl of ice cream, nor do I always have the self control to stop after a few bites. So, quick and easy ice cream fixes are always welcome. With more and more options popping up, it’s becoming easier to find the perfect ice cream treat.

Introducing Mars Chocolate new M&M’s ice cream bars. These are vanilla reduced fat ice cream with M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candy pieces. Coming in at 130 calories for each 37g ice cream bar, these are small and can be eaten in 2-3 bites if you’re really hungry. If you’ve had M&M’s in ice cream before you know they can get really hard and become hard to eat. Before trying these bars, that was my biggest concern. However, after going through a few, this was not an issue at all.

For the convenience and lower calorie treat option, these were very enjoyable. Mars Chocolate has been in the chocolate game for a long time and the milk chocolate coating on these bars reminds me of the chocolate used in their regular M&M candy. The vanilla ice cream, while “reduced fat,” was good. The M&M candy pieces were not whole M&M’s or mini M&M’s, they were in fact M&M pieces which was a smart move as they didn’t turn rock hard and chip your teeth while you ate these bars.

Overall, I really enjoyed Mars Chocolate new M&M ice cream bars. Just in time for the summer, you now have a new option that will surely satisfy your ice cream craving at a very guilt free 130 calories. I recommend you give them a try. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them as much as I did. Rating: 7.5/10.
